When reporting a recording issue

Please include the macOS version, Mac model, capture type, selected format, expected result, and what happened instead. Do not send private recordings unless support specifically asks for a sample and you are comfortable sharing it.

Permissions

FlowCap uses macOS Screen Recording permission to capture the screen. If permission is denied, open System Settings, enable FlowCap under Screen & System Audio Recording, then relaunch the app.

Diagnostics

Diagnostics are opt-in and intended for crash, hang, and thermal stability issues. Diagnostics do not include video content, screenshots, URLs, window titles, file paths, or account identifiers.
